The head of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Pastor Robert Jeffress, announced "The Grinch Alert" on December 8, 2010. A Grinch is someone who says “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”. The special designation of “Grinch” includes any person or any company with a Grinch policy and can be reported at Jeffress's website GrinchAlert.com.
And, on the day that the Pope announced the official start of the Christmas Season on the Spanish Steps in Rome, and the headlines at csmonitor.com were, “Plan to Attack Recruiting Center, Echoes Christmas Tree Bombing Plot”, is it really so bad to remind people that Christmas is the main reason we have Black Friday, Cyber Monday, "Winter Holidays", and eggnog?
