The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is internationally known for its collection of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, one of the most creative and prolific designers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Museum Known Outside Florida
More than 50 percent of the visitors to the Morse Museum come from out of state, making their way to Central Florida to see the works of one of the most popular glass artists of all time.
The museum showcases “the most comprehensive and the most interesting collection of Tiffany anywhere,” according to Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, decorative arts curator at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
