Prom is a time when seniors kick up their heels one last time before graduation. It’s a time when the entire class gets together – the jocks, the princesses, the nerds, the invisibles, and everyone in between. It’s the one night when school social status isn’t a consideration. At least that is the hope of Class President Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden) who works tirelessly on the decorations, signs, and everything else for the Prom. Prom takes viewers inside the lives of several couples as they prepare for the final dance of the year.

Drama, Drama, Drama

With three weeks to go, all the decorations are finished and stored in a shed on campus. Everyone on the Prom committee breathes a sigh of relief. They can now concentrate completely on their studies and other activities. Graduation is just around the corner, but first they must get through Prom. And with the decorations out of the way, they are one step closer to the “Starry Night” that they have planned and worked on for ages.

But when the shed burns down, taking all the Prom decorations with it, Nova must start from scratch all by herself to save the night she has planned for herself and her entire class. The principal orders Jesse Richter (Thomas McDonell) to help Nova remake all the decorations and fulfill her dream prom. Jesse is the school rebel, but he is a rebel with a heart. He drives a motorcycle, has long hair, and is the complete opposite of Nova. Can these two work together to save the prom even when Jesse doesn’t understand why it is so important to Nova?
